Молдавија покажува дека е независна, силна и сака европска иднина, изјави денеска претседателката на Европската комисија, Урсула фон дер Лајен, откако повеќе од половина од гласачите на референдумот во таа поранешна советска република го поддржаа пристапувањето на Молдавија во Европската унија.
Граѓаните на Молдавија денеска избираат претседател и гласаат на референдум за внесување во Уставот дека цел на земјата е членство во ЕУ. Прозападната претседателка Маја Санду (52) се надева дека ќе обезбеди втор мандат и поддршка на референдумот за да се потврди пристапувањето кон ЕУ како стратешка цел во уставот.
Референдумот во Молдавија за тоа дали да го промени уставот и да се заложи за влез во ЕУ што се одржа во текот на вчерашниот ден „виси на конец“, при што процентот на гласовите „за“ и „не“ речиси е еднаков.
Наглото зголемување на гласовите во полза на актуелната проевропска претседателка на Молдавија, Маја Санду, ноќта кон понеделникот по изборите и референдумот одржани во неделата е „тешко да се објасни“, изјави на редовниот бифинг со новинарите акредитирани во Крамљ, портпаролот на рускиот претседател Дмитриј Песков.
